Discussion: A LOW risk for the majority of the country where heavy showers are expected to form bringing the risk of the isolated odd lightning strike. A SLGHT Risk has been issued for Northern England where a convergence zone is expected to setup forcing showers to develop and intensify, alongside with this forcing, CAPE levels will sit around 300-600J/KG which will allow for some thunderstorms to develop within this area. Lightning could become frequent at times within the SLGHT Risk.
